We have the systems and processes in place to manage small tenant improvement projects or substantial repositioning of your assets.

Dane Rowland is a seasoned Regional Property Manager with nearly 20 years of experience in the real estate industry. He oversees a diverse portfolio of properties and leads a team of property managers, with a focus on operational excellence, financial performance, and superior tenant service.

Throughout his career, Dane has gained extensive experience across multiple sectors of real estate, including retail, office, industrial, and residential property management. He has held leadership roles with respected organizations such as The Irvine Company, Disney, and Marriott, where he developed a strategic, service-driven approach to management and team development.

Dane holds an MBA with an emphasis in Organizational Leadership from Brandman University and a BA in Communications from California State University, Long Beach.

Outside of work, Dane enjoys traveling with his family and exploring the many attractions that Southern California has to offer.

In her role as the Leasing Manager, Angela leads efforts to maximize the performance of the company’s managed portfolio. Angela brings over 12 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, specializing in marketing and leasing. Angela’s proactive and results-oriented approach, combined with her deep industry knowledge, positions her as a key driver of success.

Since joining Essex in 2018, Angela has excelled in navigating market dynamics and fostering strong tenant relationships, ensuring the sustained value and growth of the assets under her care. A licensed California Real Estate Salesperson, she leverages her expertise to develop and execute innovative leasing and marketing strategies that deliver exceptional results for each project. Angela’s strategic vision and commitment to excellence make her an invaluable asset to the Essex team.

Rachel In her role as Controller, Rachel Saldana oversees the accounting professionals dedicated to managing your asset. She collaborates closely with the management and accounting teams, ensuring that financial reporting and accounting processes are accurate, timely, and aligned
with client expectations. With over 25 years of property accounting experience, Rachel has been an integral part of Essex Realty Management since 2000. Her career also includes a pivotal position as Project Accountant at the Irvine Company. Rachel holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Accounting from St. Scholastica’s College. Her meticulous attention to detail and extensive experience make her an indispensable resource in safeguarding the financial integrity of your assets.

In her role as Project Controller, Kathy Beezley helps lead the accounting department with a commitment to precision and excellence. With over 30 years of institutional-level accounting experience, Kathy’s leadership has a profound impact on her team and clients, ensuring accuracy and reliability in all financial operations. 

Since joining Essex in 2001, Kathy has played a vital role in optimizing the company’s accounting practices. Her prior experience as an Accounting Manager at The Irvine Company included overseeing accounting functions for third-party property management firms, managing budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting for a diverse portfolio of retail, office, industrial properties, and commerical associations.

As a seasoned Regional Property Manager, Laura Ruiz brings more than 25 years of experience in the real estate industry with a wealth of expertise in managing diverse property portfolios. She leads a team of property managers with a strong emphasis on operational efficiency, financial performance, and delivering exceptional tenant experiences.

Laura’s extensive career spans various sectors of real estate, including retail, office, industrial, and commercial associations. Her 20+ years at Essex, alongside her prior experience at Insignia ESG, have sharpened her skills in property management and real estate operations, making her a trusted leader in the field.

Laura holds a California Real Estate License and continues to demonstrate a passion for driving results and fostering long-term success in every property she oversees.

HeatherAs Vice President of Essex Realty Management, Inc., Heather Stark brings over 25 years of extensive real estate expertise to her leadership role. She oversees all property management services, driving asset performance through strategic oversight and operational excellence.

Heather’s leadership spans a diverse range of property types, including office, retail, industrial, multi-family, and hospitality sectors. She has held pivotal roles at industry-leading firms such as Colliers International and Grubb & Ellis Management Services, Inc., where she consistently achieved outstanding results.

A licensed California real estate professional, Heather is known for her strategic insight, deep industry knowledge, and dedication to fostering long-term success for her team and clients. Her commitment to excellence continues to shape Essex Realty Management, Inc. as a leader in real estate asset management.

Jim As President of Essex Realty Management, Inc., Jim Neiger brings over 30 years of experience in commercial management and leasing. His previous roles, including a five-year tenure at the Koll Company, have equipped him with comprehensive expertise in managing diverse property types including office, industrial, retail, and commercial associations. In addition to traditional property management, Jim offers a unique owner’s perspective, drawing on his experience in financing and asset management for Essex-owned properties. He holds a master’s degree in Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California (U.S.C.) and a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics/Computer Science from the University of California, Los Angeles (U.C.L.A.). As a Certified Property Manager accredited by the Institute of Real Estate Management, Jim combines his academic excellence and practical experience to lead Essex with distinction and deliver unparalleled value to clients.
